I wish to express my profound gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me.

I received a copy of the Journal and of the Sentinel from a friend, and words cannot express my feelings as I began to read. I forgot all about myself. Then I came to these words: "Jesus said, 'If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.' " This blessed truth—Christian Science—has freed me from the bondage of complicated diseases of tweleve years' standing, and has healed my son of appendicitis of two years' standing. This proved to me "that my redeemer liveth." I cannot cease to thank this dear friend for the Journal and Sentinel.

For the practitioners who gave us help so lovingly and for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church I am grateful. I am also grateful to God, to Christ Jesus, and to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for this glorious truth which she has revealed to all mankind, and for the literature and activities of our movement.
