In Morgenavisen of July 16 there is a review of Lyman P. Powell's book, "Mary Baker Eddy. En levnadsteckning."

The reviewer writes of Mrs. Eddy's book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" that in the Christian Science church "its authority is equal if not superior to the Bible." Mrs. Eddy constantly emphasizes that the Bible has been her only authority, and all her writings purpose to give the reader a spiritual and vital understanding of the Bible.

Those who become members of the Christian Science church must subscribe to six Tenets, which are found on page 497 of Science and Health, the first of which reads, "As adherents of Truth, we take the inspired Word of the Bible as our sufficient guide to eternal Life."
