What
peace of thought comes to one as he perceives the impartial nature of God's love! What heartaches have resulted from the feeling that all have not been treated alike by those who give love or good things! Sometimes a child will grow up with a feeling that his parents loved one of his brothers or sisters more than they loved him.
Humanity,
faced with individual, social, national, and international unrest, is seeking the solution of its many problems.
A clarion
call to every Christian Scientist, specific, direct, and unmistakable in its meaning, is found on page 417 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," where its author, Mary Baker Eddy, writes: "Maintain the facts of Christian Science,—that Spirit is God, and therefore cannot be sick; that what is termed matter cannot be sick; that all causation is Mind, acting through spiritual law.
As
children of God, it is our privilege constantly to claim our legitimate spiritual birthright of perfection.
The foregoing stanza from a loved hymn bespeaks the desire of the earnest Christian Scientist.
It
is recorded in the fifth chapter of the Gospel of John that a man who for nearly forty years had suffered an infirmity, and who was lying by the pool of Bethesda in discouragement and disappointment, was observed by Jesus.
