In a review of a certain booklet some statements in your paper give such a misconception of the teachings of Christian Science that I am impelled to request space for the following correction.
The reviewer of the booklet alleges that Christian Science teaches that both sin and sickness exist only so far as we will have them, and that all we need to do is simply to will the good and then everything will be all right.
Healing in Christian Science is in no way an act of will power. Christian Science maintains that all human suffering and inharmony can traced to three sources—sin, fear, or ignorance, ignorance of the law of God, good. Christian Science also teaches that the understanding and application of this law gives man dominion over everything that conflicts with it.
