Demonstrating Vitality in Business
Assertions such as, "Business is dead," or, "Business is paralyzed," result from a misapprehension of God as Life. The very same beliefs which try to take possession of the mortal body present themselves in every type of material business.
Concerning the body, Mary Baker Eddy declares, "A material body only expresses a material and mortal mind" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 208). It requires considerable understanding of the truths of Christian Science before this statement about the body is accepted without reservation. But almost any business man or woman will at once accept the statement that a material business "only expresses a material and mortal mind."
Every business is conceived mentally before it is manifested as an outward activity, and its continued prosperity is determined by the nature of the thinking of those connected with it.
