I wish to express my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for making Christian Science available to the world. It has aided me through countless difficulties, and enabled me to make rapid recovery from a mental and nervous breakdown. Since this healing I have been able to leave my family and friends in order to take up regular duties of employment, depending only on God for reassurance in disposing of even the petty fears that arise in meeting the public. I am now attending the state university, where I have the privilege of active membership in the Christian Science organization. It is also my joy to have membership in The Mother Church and a branch church.

Our family has demonstrated protection in an earthquake and from accidents, healing of physical ailments, proof of God as the source of supply, and aid in schoolwork. While I was riding on the running board of a car my clothes caught on a truck proceeding in the opposite direction and I was dragged from the car. In spite of minor bruises and being shaken, I was later able to descend swiftly, alone, and safely a three-thousand-foot cliff on a perilous trail and then participate in a party until early the following morning.

When I was about ten years old I was removed from school for six months with a skin disease. The problem was overcome with the aid of a practitioner, and when I returned to school I passed the grade on trial. During the following five years I was able to advance one whole year ahead of my former classmates.

Christian Science, as my only physician, has met all the physical problems I have been confronted with, and it is an ever-present source of joy that I have been able to make my way through trying problems. I am indeed grateful for Christian Science, for the practitioners who are ever ready to help us in time of need, and to Mrs. Eddy for the loving work she did in revealing to the world this most practical religion.—David R. I can vouch for the truth of the above statements of my son. In rearing my family of four sons, I have relied on Christian Science alone. I believe that the large degree of peace which I have experienced is the direct result of faithful daily study of the Bible and Mrs. Eddy's writings. Many years ago, when starting out in my profession of teaching, I was told to adopt a philosophy of life as soon as possible. What better philosophy could one have than that of Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, the Science of whose teachings has been revealed by Mary Baker Eddy?

I can heartily corroborate the foregoing testimony of my nephew. Christian Science has not only healed those things mentioned in the testimony, but it has healed many so-called serious ailments and conditions that have presented themselves to the family. I was healed of stomach trouble of several years' standing jsut through the reading of Science and Health. At that time I took up the definite study of Science, and it has been of inestimable value to me through the years which have followed. I am so grateful to our revered Leader for her love for mankind which led her to establish this religion of salvation for humanity.
