Although I have always been very grateful for the untold blessings that the study and application of Christian Science have brought to me, this is the first testimony I have written for our beloved periodicals.

I did not take up the study of Christian Science for healing; rather it appealed to me as a beautiful religion and the truth for which I had been seeking. But I soon found that I had need of healing, for as I gained some understanding of this truth I lost my faith in material aids. My first healing was of digestive disorders, and the next of the need of wearing glasses; both of these difficulties I had had from childhood. These healings have been permanent, for they took place more than twenty years ago. Since that time I have been healed of colds, influenza, sick headaches, a severe rash or breaking out on the face, effects of accidents such as falls and burns; and a piece of glass which had lodged in my throat was removed. In fact, I have experienced healings too numerous to mention here. For them all and for the spiritual understanding gained during these years of study I am most grateful.

For our periodicals I am especially grateful, for in them we constantly find much help in correcting our thought about the many erroneous conditions that seem to abound in the world today. I am convinced that if we avail ourselves of the privilege of subscribing to and reading our periodicals, whatever problems arise will be healed more readily.
