We can assure a certain doctor that time is not being wasted by Christian Scientists, as he is reported to have asserted in your issue of March 23, 1935. Neither is Christian Science a cult of "fanatical cranks," as he assumes.

Christian Scientists are endeavoring to practice the system of healing presented to the world by Christ Jesus. A better system than his has never been known, but how few seem to practice it! Mary Baker Eddy rediscovered the divine Principle and rules which underlay the healing works of our Master, and gave her discovery to the world in such a form that his method is today being utilized and found efficacious in the healing of all manner of sickness and sin. Many of those who turn to Christian Science, and are healed, do so after all other material methods have already been tried without success.
