I have had so many proofs of God's loving care that I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science. About eleven years ago, through the purchase of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I first began to study this Science. Since that time, through the application of the truth, as taught by Mrs. Eddy, and with the help of consecrated practitioners, I have experienced many blessings and healings, among them being the healing of a nervous condition that had troubled me for some time, frequent colds, periods of depression, headaches, toothaches, and unemployment. My capacity for work has been enlarged, enabling me to accomplish more than I had thought possible, and I have been able to do work to which I was unaccustomed. At times, when I have found myself in need, the way has opened up and supply has come to me in most unexpected ways.

I am very grateful for the statement in Science and Health (p. 224), "There should be painless progress, attended by life and peace instead of discord and death." I am very grateful for the better understanding of God that has unfolded to me since I took up the study of Christian Science; for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church; and for the privilege of teaching in the Sunday school and taking part in other church work.
