Our God

HEDWIG BROWDE

Oh , God, Thou art our shield
From every seeming wrong;
We look to Thee, are healed,
Our grief is turned to song.

We know Thy love and power,
We feel Thy presence near;
Thy grace in every hour,
Thy truth, removing fear.

Thy wisdom, strength, and might
Will guide us all the way;
We know it is Thy light
Which leads to perfect day.
