Christian Science is the greatest blessing that ever came into my life. In 1912 my healing of tuberculosis through Christian Science seemed so wonderful to me that I at once began to study the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, in connection with the Bible and the Christian Science Quarterly. Numerous other healings have been experienced, such as of influenza, stomach and intestinal trouble, insomnia, colds, and effects of accidents.

While I am grateful for all the physical healings, the overcoming of faults of character and the ability to feel at peace, even in the midst of error's tumult, mean a great deal more to me. I am grateful for trials, which have taught me not to lean on person, also for a clearer perception of what true substance is, for as I depend wholly on divine Love every need is met.

My heart goes out in love to our dear Leader for her purity and love for humanity, which enabled her to reveal to us again the Christianity which Jesus taught. I am grateful for The Christian Science Board of Directors in Boston, for their steadfast adherence to the truth, and for their wisdom in watching over the activities of our great Cause. Membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church is a great privilege, as is also class instruction. My one desire is for a better understanding of God, and to learn to reflect more love toward my fellow man.
