The Psalmist sang, "He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings." This is indeed what Christian Science has done for me. From a life of worldliness and frivolity it has led me to seek and find spiritual understanding and "the beauty of holiness."

My husband had an experience during the recent so-called depression for which I am very grateful. One afternoon, without any forewarning, he was informed that his services were no longer needed where he was employed. Knowing God to be our source of supply, and knowing that He always has need of His children's services and a right place for them, we turned to God through Christian Science for our help. In less than three weeks a position was accepted, and it was a wonderful occasion to prove God's allness and ever-presence, for my husband, a well-trained buyer for a department store, became a traveling salesman, taking a new line into a new territory. Through God's help and guidance he established a profitable and permanent business. I am humbly grateful for the loving help of the practitioner who was so faithful and understanding.

I have had many healings in Christian Science for which to be grateful, among them being the healing of social drinking and the desire for coffee and cigarettes.
