After many years of studying Christian Science, of having the privilege of subscribing for its wonderful literature, of being a member of The Mother Church, and of having the joy of spending a time in the heavenly atmosphere of the beautiful home of The Christian Science Benevolent Association at Chestnut Hill, I am aware that it is high time for me to join in the paean of praise for innumerable healings, mental and physical.

I was crushed beneath a load of mortal fears, bound hand and foot by "the illusion of material sense," as Mrs. Eddy has so clearly described it on page 227 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." Through Christian Science I began to learn that evil is powerless to harm us when we know the truth, and I had great desire to avail myself of the treasures of the Bible, which this "key" so gloriously unlocked for me. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for this discovery of the Science of Life.

I have had many proofs of physical healing, which have given me courage to press on and know that darkest fears about anything can vanish in like manner. One convincing proof was the removal from my hands of thirty-five warts in different stages of development. After treatment was asked for they scaled off and left no scar.
