It is with a sense of deep gratitude to God and to Mary Baker Eddy, who brought Christian Science within the reach of all, that I testify to the beautiful healings I have had since becoming interested in the study of this Science. When first Christian Science was brought to me by a dear friend, I was to mortal sense a very sick woman. For fifteen years I had not known what it meant to feel well. During this time I had had seven operations, four of which were major ones. I was on the eve of going into a nursing home to have another operation when I heard of Christian Science, and asked a practitioner to treat me. After the first treatment I felt like a different person and was able to sleep without a drug for the first time in three months. I was healed also of bronchitis after many years of suffering. One of the most outstanding demonstrations I have had was the healing of a fractured arm. I did not have the arm set, nor did I have a doctor, although I had the arm X-rayed. The report read, "Impacted Colles's fracture, R. radius. Fragments are in a satisfactory position." This healing was complete.

I am grateful for our Sunday services, the Wednesday evening testimony meetings, the literature, for class instruction, for the help we are able to have from the practitioners, and for the privilege of having lectures in South Africa every year.—(Mrs.) Anne Ellen Van Buuren, Pretoria, Transvaal, South Africa.
