In a political radiocast during the noon hour today one of the speakers was introduced as a "Christian Science practitioner authorized by The Mother Church in Boston."

From this introduction some of the radio audience may mistakenly have received the impression that the speaker was authorized by The Christian Science Board of Directors to speak for the Christian Science church. He was not. The address in question was not sponsored or authorized by The Mother Church in Boston.

The Christian Science church is engaged in advancing the healing of sin, sickness, and other discordant conditions by spiritual means in accordance with the teachings of Christ Jesus. It is contrary to the policy of the Christian Science church to take any part in political campaigns.
