For many years I have been helped and encouraged by testimonies given by others. I am most grateful for the overcoming of fear that enabled me, some twenty years ago, to realize that it is the Christian Scientist's joyous privilege to testify to the healing power of God.

I had heard of Christian Science several years before being willing to accept its teachings. Being a daughter of a minister, whose five brothers were ministers of four different denominations, I had heard much about God and about their creeds, but could not see that their beliefs brought them health or joy.
