Stavangeren of November 27 contains a report of a lecture wherein Christian Science is mentioned in a manner which is misleading. It is said to be "explained as a kind of magnetic radiation from one individual to another." Christian Science has nothing to do with magnetism.

Christian Science has been defined as the Science of spiritually right thinking. It shows that in the first place it is a man's right thinking which determines his happiness and health, and it teaches people to reform their thinking by establishing it on a spiritual foundation. This is not brought about through suggestion, but through an understanding of man's true spiritual selfhood and his relation to God. "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
