In 1918 I became interested in Christian Science through a very deep sorrow, of which I was healed through the help of a practitioner.

We knew nothing of this Science when our landlady mentioned it to my daughter, and said that she knew it would help me. She also told her that there was a practitioner in the house, so my daughter called on the latter and asked her if she would come and talk to me. She lovingly did so and I was healed of the sorrow, as well as of constipation of long standing. I have also been healed of bronchial pneumonia, of fear, and of hay fever, for which I am indeed grateful. I owe it all to God, the Giver of all good; to Christ Jesus, our Way-shower; and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.

Membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church has been such a blessing to me and my family. After the doctor said he could do no more for him, my son was healed of quinsy sore throat in twenty-four hours by a practitioner. For this we are indeed very grateful.
