"Be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you," says the apostle. I can indeed do this with joy, since Christian Science has come into my life. It is wonderful to know that the works which Jesus did are still possible, that knowing the truth frees us from sin, sickness, and death today, as it did in Jesus' time.

With the help of a practitioner I have been healed of headaches, grippe, an injury to my spine, a nervous pressure in my ears, and rheumatism. Financial problems too have been solved. But to those who perhaps have been struggling with error for a long time, I should like to say that I did not come out of one condition for years, in spite of all the help I had. The way from sense to Soul was not an easy one, yet I did not turn back; it only spurred me on to study Christian Science the more earnestly. At length I was ready for class instruction, for which I am deeply grateful, for it is the greatest joy and blessing of my life. In this way the error from which I was suffering vanished into nothingness.

I am also sincerely grateful for the Reading Rooms, which here, as in America, have been a place of kindly refuge and a second home. I thank God that He enabled Mrs. Eddy to give us again the redeeming truth.—(Miss) Agnes Lendi, Tamins, Graubunden, Switzerland.
