Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

The attitude of the press generally continues to be friendly. During the year there were three misrepresentations of Christian Science in the press. The East London Dispatch and the Tarka Herald printed the replies in full, but Die Kerkbode printed only the denials of misstatement.

Seven lectures were given in the province. In Cape Town short reports of each of the two lectures which were given appeared in the Cape Argus. A report was published in the Eastern Province Herald at Port Elizabeth. Short reports were also published in each of the other newspapers where lectures were held.

Several newspapers in the province have republished with acknowledgment articles from the Monitor.
