Prizes

[Written Especially for Children]

A student of Christian Science, whose child was a Christian Science Sunday School pupil, one day sat wondering whether her child missed the so-called attractions provided for children in some of the Sunday schools of other denominations. She tried to realize that God's spiritual idea is always at the standpoint of satisfaction, and can know and desire only that which is spiritual. A few days later a conversation between her small son and a friend showed how this fact had been proved.

The little friend had run into the house and was saying excitedly, "Tonight is our prize-giving, and I am to be given a beautiful book as a reward for regular attendance at Sunday school." He then asked the other boy, "Don't you get prizes at your Sunday school?"

The little Scientist promptly answered, "Oh, yes, we do get prizes, but not the same kind of prizes that you get."
