Stavangeren (translation)

In Stavangeren of December 11, a doctor announces that Christian Science leads to "the merest caricatures in its absurd attempts of healing." If Christian Science did not achieve more than "absurd attempts of healing," and if it were not something else than what some of its critics deem it to be, it would surely have been forgotten long ago.

In Christian Science weekly and monthly periodicals may be found authenticated testimonies from people who through Christian Science have been healed of all kinds of diseases, including such as are generally considered incurable. Similar testimonies one may hear every Wednesday in the Christian Science churches and societies which are now spread over the globe.

If one honestly wishes to know something about Christian Science one ought to read Mary Baker Eddy's book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and then form his own opinion instead of reading second and third hand "critical appraisals."
