Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

Lanarkshire, Scotland.

In November the editor and publicity agent of the Glasgow Weekly Herald offered the Committee a column each week in that paper to be devoted entirely to the subject of Christian Science. It was explained that all that could be given would be Lesson-Sermon extracts, reprints of metaphysical articles from The Christian Science Monitor, summaries of lectures, and, occasionally, items of interest in connection with the movement. Material of this nature for the column was supplied by this Committee for about six months and evidence has proved that it was widely read throughout Scotland. The Glasgow Weekly Herald claims to have a wide circulation also in the British Colonies. In spring, however, a new editor was appointed, and he decided to discontinue the column on Christian Science.

Extracts from the Lesson-Sermons are supplied regularly to six Lanarkshire newspapers.
