Although at our testimony meetings I have often given expression to the deep gratitude I feel for Christian Science, I have never taken the opportunity to write and tell of some of the beautiful healings and experiences I have had in the many years I have been studying this demonstrable and healing truth.

Nineteen years ago my second child was easily and harmoniously born after I had been told by a physician and surgeon that it would be most dangerous for me to have another child. Through Christian Science, both of my children were entirely freed from measles and whooping cough in two days, when we were about to be asked to leave a hotel at which we were stopping. All trace of the error had vanished so completely that the management was quite embarrassed after approaching us. On several occasions extreme temperature was reduced in a very short time, always with the aid of a faithful practitioner, for whose unselfishness and precious help I can never express enough love. I have had innumerable physical healings, but I am most grateful for a change of disposition from one of criticism, faultfinding, and irritation to one of kind and loving patience and consideration of others. Many times I have felt the presence of God, His guidance and protection in times of need, and have talked with Him and have received that which I sought.

How often the experiences of our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, have given me courage to carry on! For her life and love of humanity I am deeply grateful.
