A few years ago I had a wonderful healing through Christian Science of an internal complaint from which I had suffered for some time. I did not seek advice from a doctor, for I knew that God alone could heal me. My healing was slow, but during that time I learned much. I have also experienced many minor healings, such as of influenza, headaches, and sore throats. From childhood I had suffered from headaches and would be prostrate for days at a time; many physicians and a specialist were consulted before I heard of Christian Science, but the headaches only grew worse. After I took up the study of this Science they never troubled me again.

I am very grateful for the loving help, patience, and unselfishness of the practitioners during these years. Christian Science is a great blessing to mankind, and I am grateful for our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has shown us the way to follow our great Master. I am thankful for the privilege of being a member of The Mother Church, and a Reader in a small group of Christian Science students in our little country town.—(Mrs.) Kathleen Oakes, Kingaroy, Queensland, Australia.
