About thirty-three years ago I had my first Christian Science treatment. A great part of my life thus far had been spent in suffering from neuralgia, toothache, and headaches. I felt I could no longer stand the pain, and physicians failed to give me permanent relief. My mother, who was a very young student of Christian Science, asked me if I would care to have her give me a treatment. I replied that I would do anything for relief from the terrible pain. In less than five minutes after the treatment was begun I was asleep. I awoke about an hour later entirely free, and no time had to be spent in bed recovering from the effects of medicine as had been customary.
Since then I have had many healings and have used no material remedies. A broken wrist bone had no aid other than Christian Science, and I was driving my car in a few days. I am happy to be a member of The Mother Church, and am grateful for class instruction.
