Twenty years ago my mother was quickly healed of severe sick headaches by Christian Science treatment. This made us all happy and grateful. We did not hesitate a moment in taking up the study of Science and Health.

The Bible has meant more to each one of the family than it ever did before. During the World War, when one brother was at the front, the promise, "Stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord," brought peace to us and proved a protection to the soldier.

Christian Science has healed me of influenza, an ulcerated tooth, and sick headaches, and has inspired me to do good in the world. My father, being responsible for the safety of thousands of people and the boats themselves, on the Mississippi River, has felt God's direction and protection innumerable times.

Class instruction was the most inspiring event in my life. Christian Science gives us something intensely interesting to think about every moment. The more I read our Leader's writings, the more deeply am I impressed with the grandeur of her life and of her books.
