It is with a truly grateful heart that I give this testimony of healings of members of our family through Christian Science. Not a day has passed without proofs of God's loving care. Among the discordant conditions that have been healed completely is one for which I am particularly grateful, for with the healing came the desire to learn more of this newold truth. I broke one of my legs above the knee, and under the circumstances it was necessary for me to go to a hospital. A Christian Science practitioner was called on the telephone and she started work immediately, and as the result of her work I experienced little or no pain. In a comparatively short time the bone had knitted, and I now walk as well as ever. Each day brings to me a clearer understanding that God is, as the Psalmist wrote, "a very present help in trouble."

My father has had many healings of discords, including one of long-standing stomach trouble and eczema; and among other proofs of God's loving care are healings of measles, mumps, yellow jaundice, influenza, neuralgia, and serious colds. I should also like to state that Christian Science is a great help in my high school studies.

I am indeed grateful to God for these healings; for the loving practitioners; for the periodicals with their beautiful editorials, articles, and testimonies; for our Way-shower, Christ Jesus; and for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. I am grateful for the blessed privilege of being brought up in Christian Science, and for the opportunity of attending the Christian Science Sunday School since I was five years old.—Bertram Borgen Johnson, High Bridge, New Jersey.
