I have been interested in Christian Science for over...
I have been interested in Christian Science for over twenty years, studying it seriously for the past eleven, during which time I became a member of a branch church in the California desert, taught in its Sunday school, and took part in some of its other activities. I have also had the privilege of class instruction. I should like to testify to a few of the wonderful blessings which I have received since studying this Science.
First of all it saved my life when I was suffering from a nervous breakdown, after three of the best specialists of Philadelphia had said it was impossible for me to live. Later I came west with my mother and daughter. I was said to have the worst eyes that an eminent doctor in New York City had ever operated on, and he told me that I should go blind if ever I went without glasses. I was kept out of school from the time I was eight years old until I was twelve. I was healed of this trouble about fifteen years ago through reading Science and Health. Christian Science has added talents, as well as healing me. These blessings have come to me through my endeavor to be obedient to God's law.
Just by daily knowing the truths contained in Science and Health, my boy was healed of a clubfoot and now plays football. I can never express my gratitude for our Leader and for all her writings.
