I wish to express my gratitude to God for the great blessings that have come to me through Christian Science. Twenty years ago I found this grand truth, after I had been under the care of several medical doctors and had tried everything that they could do for me. The condition was a severe case of eczema. I was in a very bad condition and was finally given up by the doctors; then Christian Science came into my life. After a few treatments I was well. Words can never express my gratitude to God for this healing.

I also want to express my deep thankfulness for another beautiful healing I experienced over six years ago. From childhood I had been very delicate and continually under a doctor's care. After Christian Science came into my life I needed no medical help for ten years. Then a serious incident occurred and I asked a Christian Science practitioner for treatment. Instead of becoming better I grew worse. My people were very much disquieted, so I had a doctor's examination for their reassurance. After the examination the doctor said that there was an internal tumor and that it could be removed only through an operation. The practitioner and I held very firmly to the truth that God is the only power and operator.

For some time there was an improvement. Then came a day when the pain was more violent than it had ever been. The practitioner passed many a difficult hour with me at night as well as by day. She had full confidence in God continuously. One evening, when I could not even lie down because of the pain, she said, "Let us now know that God is almighty and our only help at this moment." I had a good night's rest, and the next morning I got up free from pain. Later everything dissolved in the natural way. After some time, when the doctor examined me again, he said that I was completely healed.
