Among the Churches

The Red Oak Express

Red Oak, Iowa (Society).—Church dedication services for Christian Science Society of Red Oak, Iowa, were held in the church edifice on Sunday, December 31, 1933, in both the morning and afternoon.

An impressive expression of deep gratitude to God, and a renewed expression of loyalty to Mary Baker Eddy, through whose guidance and assistance the church was made possible, were read in a special announcement.

A brief resume of the history of this society's humble beginning twenty-five years ago, and its steady, persistent growth up to the present time, was also read in each service.

The new church is of a conservative bungalow design. On either side of the foyer, a directors' room and a cloak room are conveniently located. The auditorium has a seating capacity of seventy-five, and it is a beautifully lighted room with soft, restful appointments. As is customary with all Christian Science churches, this new building was dedicated free from all indebtedness.—The Red Oak Express.
