In all humility I wish to express gratitude for the many beautiful blessings that have come to me as a result of the study and application of Christian Science, and for the blessing of having never known anything but this wonderful truth.

One of the most outstanding experiences was the healing of a broken wrist when I was but a small child. My father insisted on a doctor's examination, and the doctor said the wrist would have to be operated on, but that it would never be normal and that I would not be able to bend my hand back. Of course, this operation was not agreed to, instead a Christian Science practitioner was called. In about a month I was playing as freely as any of my playmates and continued my music lessons on the piano with complete freedom. The wrist was entirely healed except for a small scar, which is scarcely noticeable now. All the fear and talk about material laws that the doctor and others voiced were powerless in the presence of the great Physician, our FatherMother God.

I wish to express gratitude for the practitioners who so lovingly and unselfishly help their fellow men in times of need. I am reverently grateful to Mrs. Eddy for giving us this practical truth and the wonderful literature that reaches the whole world. Many unlovely traits of character have been and are being overcome through this demonstrable truth; and through it have come peace, happiness, supply, brotherly love, patience, and unselfishness. I am more grateful every day for the privilege of being a member of The Mother Church and a branch church, and for serving so great a Cause.
