Gratitude

Truly a mighty occasion for gratitude to all students of Christian Science is the recent completion of the beautiful and adequate new Publishing House. This waymark in the progress of our Cause is but the outward and visible expression of a glorious fruitage of uncounted songs and prayers of gratitude constantly welling from the thankful hearts of Christian Scientists all over the world.

What student of this Science has not many times in his experience found the solution of a seemingly obstinate problem through simple, heartfelt gratitude? Turning from the material evidence of sorrow, sickness, or sin, however real and painful it may seem to be, and counting one's blessings with joyous gratitude, leads thought into healthy, active channels replete with healing.

It is illuminating to study well with the help of the Concordances all our Leader has to say about gratitude. Truly we find her inspired words as incense on which our thoughts rise to benefit both ourselves and others.
