This testimony is offered with sincere gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me; it means more to me each day. Through the study of our textbook and the other writings of our beloved Leader, together with the Bible, I have learned to know God. I have become acquainted with Him "whom to know aright is Life eternal" (Science and Health, Pref., p. vii). I became interested in Christian Science after hearing an authorized lecture. Immediately thereafter I borrowed a copy of Science and Health, and while reading it for the first time I was completely healed of deafness, also of the necessity of wearing glasses, which I had worn for some time.

Christian Science has been of inestimable value in our home in bringing up our two children. Our little daughter was healed of combined whooping cough and pneumonia. Her condition became so alarming that the fear of death had to be overcome. Through the loving help and the assurance of a practitioner that "God is our Life, and, since He is eternal, Life is without beginning or ending," the fear was overcome and she was healed.

At one time our son broke an arm near the wrist. Christian Science treatment was given, and his arm was healed within ten days, and in less than thirty days he used it in performing acrobatic stunts. These healings have taught me that surely "trials are proofs of God's care" (ibid., p. 66). We know He is caring for us and for all of His children.
