It is with a heart very full of gratitude that I send this testimony of thanks for all that Christian Science has done for me. Whenever it has been faithfully applied it has helped me in every way.

There was a time when I did not regard Christian Science as essential to me; and I wanted to smoke and do many things which were known to be contrary to its teachings. I tried to go on in this way, and went steadily downhill until everything deemed a support failed me. I then began to see what an aimless life I had been leading, and again turned to Christian Science, and ever since have found it a great help and comfort.

When my father passed on, my little understanding of Christian Science proved a wonderful support. The loving help I received from my Science friends was so uplifting, and I proved that God does "wipe away all tears" from our eyes. At that time I was away from home with a Christian Scientist. I shall always feel most grateful for her understanding and kindness, which helped to lift my thought out of the sense of loss and grief.
