Christian Science came into our lives over five years ago, when all seemed bitter darkness, and when I had nearly lost faith in God, and in Christ Jesus and his teachings, although I had been raised in a strict orthodox church.

A friend, whom I remembered as a devout Christian Scientist and to whom I wrote for information about this Science, lovingly wrote me what I needed to know, and I bought a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, also the Christian Science Quarterly, and started an earnest study of the textbook. I loved it deeply from the start.
