We read in the Scriptures, "Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God." It is with the hope that this testimony will comfort someone and with a gratitude unspeakable that I desire to share my testimony that Christian Science does heal. Having embraced this divine fact we can rejoice in Mrs. Eddy's words in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 177), "The evidence of divine Mind's healing power and absolute control is to me as certain as the evidence of my own existence."

A mental disturbance presented itself to me some years ago and caused my family to place me in an institution for relief. After some weeks elapsed a loving messenger of God came to see me, a Christian Science practitioner who talked to me about Him. It was through the clear vision of the Christ which this practitioner had that I was healed. Her realization of the statement on page 559 of Science and Health met my need: "The 'still, small voice' of scientific thought reaches over continent and ocean to the globe's remotest bound. The inaudible voice of Truth is, to the human mind, 'as when a lion roareth.' "

In four months, through understanding God's spiritual, all-embracing government, false belief was stripped of its lying suggestions, mental doors were thrown open wide, and my true, eternal heritage of intelligence as a child of God was claimed and realized and I was free.
