The Valiant Heart

That valiant heart, which has the vision clear
To gain from earthborn taints a glad release,
Will heart the music that no ear can hear
And sing the silent song of joy and peace.

And from within, where peace and joy abound,
The silent song of praise sweeps into space
In tones so low no mortal hears the sound,
Yet loud enough to reach the throne of grace.

O valiant heart! from earthborn doubts and fears
Your vision of the truth has made you free,
And truth strives on, triumphant through the years,
Majestic in its grand supremacy.
