It is with heartfelt gratitude that I testify to a healing while I was a guest at the Sanatorium of The Christian Science Benevolent Association in Boston for nine weeks. A doctor had diagnosed the condition as cancer of the mouth, and said that it could be burned out with electrical treatment. Then my husband took me to another doctor, who said it could not be removed by electricity but advised its immediate removal with the knife. As all my healing had come through Christian Science for the previous twenty years I had no intention of having medical treatment of any kind.
I am filled with thankfulness and praise when I think of the love experienced while at the Sanatorium, and I wish to express my gratitude to the loving practitioner; also for the extreme kindness of the associates. I am thankful for the multitude of blessings realized through the unfolding of the Scriptures; for the magnificent work of our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy; for class instruction; for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church; and for the wonderful and faithful work that is being done throughout the Field.—(Mrs.) Sophia Julia McDonald, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada.
