The Lectures

Introductions to Lectures

Bingley, England (Society).

Lecturer: William Duncan Kilpatrick; introduced by Mrs. Elizabeth Telford, who said:—

Each one of us here tonight would gladly be free from any discordant condition, be it physical, domestic, or financial. The Bible says of a man, "As he thinketh in his heart, so is he." As we practice the teachings of Christian Science we find that our thoughts are purified and our lives transformed. About the year 1901 I first heard of this truth, and with the understanding gained by its study I have enjoyed almost perfect health, happiness, and contentment. I have witnessed many healings, such as those of sciatica, appendicitis, and numerous children's complaints. On every hand we have proof that Christian Science can be relied upon whatever the need may be.
