It is in a spirit of great gratitude that I offer my testimony, lovingly endeavoring to express a little of what Christian Science has done for me, and hoping that it may help some of those who read it. Many years ago, when I first heard of Christian Science, my general health was quickly restored. This included the strengthening of a weak back and the overcoming of attacks of headache, a delicate stomach, and various childhood ailments. I was also helped in my studies at boarding school.

Christian Science is increasingly helpful to me. I know that the more faithful I am in applying Christian Science in every detail of my life the more rapidly I shall gain the Mind which was in Christ Jesus.

About eight years ago I was going to a modeling school by underground railway. Just as the train stopped my hand was caught in the door. Fellow passengers released it and were very kind. I proceeded on my way silently declaring the truth that God is infinite Love, and that as the perfect creator He had created all to express Himself. As Mrs. Eddy states in Science and Health (p. 525): "Everything good or worthy, God made. Whatever is valueless or baneful, He did not make,—hence its unreality." At the modeling school I worked steadily with both hands, as the pain had vanished. The stiffness disappeared shortly afterwards.
