More than once Christian Science has been of great help to me, and by writing this I wish to give some assurance of the joy which awaits those who will accept its guidance. Truly "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy is an inexhaustible source of happiness. Every day its pages reveal more beautiful thoughts to us.

For some time I suffered from pains in the chest, and it seemed to me that a gland had swollen and hardened. I was greatly worried by the pain it gave me, and despite all the proofs that I had had up to that time of the nonexistence of error and the omnipotence and goodness of God, fear gained the upper hand, for the ailment grew worse and distressed both my family and me. Sadness and anguish invaded our home. Then I asked a Christian Science practitioner for help. She helped me lovingly through correspondence, and while reading her first letter I was healed. I could never explain what took place at that moment. I felt God near me, destroying the error and fear which had tormented me. The gland suddenly became normal, and the pain vanished. After a few days the pains which I had in my chest also disappeared, and I am now entirely well.

I do not know how to thank God for this blessing, and for the happiness which came back into our home after this healing. I want to express my overflowing gratitude to God, to Christian Science, and to the practitioner who has always helped me. I wish all could feel the joy that I experience at the thought that God is ever present.
