I feel inexpressibly grateful for all the good which the teachings of Christian Science have brought to me during the last eight or nine years. I have experienced many physical healings. After reading a few chapters of Science and Health, which was lent to me by a friend, I was healed of defective eyesight, frequent headaches, and the need of glasses, which I had worn since childhood. This healing encouraged me to continue reading, although I did not seem able to understand much of what I read; but through further study of the Bible and our Leader's works a clearer understanding of the healing power of Truth has gradually unfolded, and I am indeed grateful that I was led to persevere in this study.
Through the help of practitioners I have been healed of abscessed teeth, swollen glands, sore throat, colds, coughs, chicken pox, and complete loss of voice. Severe chilblains, from which I had long suffered, yielded as a result of one treatment. Christian Science has also brought me great comfort when dear ones have passed on; and I have been healed by being able to realize their continued activity, still surrounded by divine Love.
I am most grateful for the joys of membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church; for the great privilege of church activities, including work in the Sunday school; also for the blessings of class instruction and the annual Association meetings. I am grateful for the church services, the lectures, and our periodicals, all of which help us to attain a better understanding of God and man.
