An item in "Healthful Hints," in your issue of May 20, implied mistakenly that Christian Science heals only "imaginary troubles," and that it will not cure cases of "an acute morbid nature."

Please let me say that Christian Science follows the spiritually mental method of Christ Jesus, whose healing works were not limited to special types of disease. He cured functional and organic disease of extreme type, as well as sin, promptly and permanently, and said, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also."

The success of Christian Scientists in utilizing effectively the Master's promise may be seen by referring to issues of Christian Science weekly and monthly periodicals, wherein are authenticated testimonies of the healings of various physical and moral disorders through Christian Science. The instances of physical cure testified to in recent issues of these publications include the healing of pleurisy, crooked teeth, influenza, backache, impaired sight and hearing, muscular rheumatism, bronchial pneumonia, paralysis, fibroid tumor, infantile paralysis, acute appendicitis, and others.
