Too long have I delayed in giving expression to my heartfelt appreciation for the innumerable blessings and healings that have come to me through the ministry of Christian Science.

I remember praying earnestly to God to give me peace, for I was unhappy and lonely. Shortly afterward I was invited to attend a Christian Science lecture. Seated in the auditorium, I looked up and saw the word "Love" in the dome of the ceiling. Little did I know then the depth and wonder of that mighty word. Soon I became a regular attendant at the services, but it was not until one dark day when a physician told me my infant son could not live that I became a working Christian Scientist. His was the first healing I witnessed. It seemed a miracle to me, since it was a condition of proud flesh, which yielded in three treatments.

It has been twenty-seven years since I first found Christian Science, years of joys and sorrows; but never has a trial been without a way of escape. The physical healings are many, among them being those of blood poisoning, scarlet fever, measles, high blood pressure, pneumonia, diphtheria, typhoid, smallpox, appendicitis, a fractured kneecap, nervous prostration, blindness, and lung trouble. Marvelous protection in two accidents and the finding of lost articles are further evidences of God's care.
