I have much pleasure in testifying to the happiness and benefits that I have received from Christian Science and wish to express my deep gratitude for them. I was a practically helpless and very sad woman. For about thirty years I has been a great sufferer and had undergone five serious operations at different periods. When at last Christian Science was brought to my notice through a friend who advised me to try it or at least to study it, I received the Christian Science Sentinel by post, and then I procured "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy; and after a few weeks' study I was able to walk and attend to my own duties. This was a wonderful change for me. Life, which had formerly been full of suffering, now held joy and hope.

For over nine years Christian Science has been my sole healer; and a doctor told my son a short time ago that Christian Science had done for me more than he or any doctor could have done, and that had he not known it to be true, he would have said that it was impossible. Christian Science has made me desire to help others to try to realize the truth and to be healed by divine Love.
