My gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me...

My gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me prompts me to give this testimony.

Over twelve years ago, through reading the chapter on Prayer in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I was permanently healed of the necessity of wearing glasses. The oculist had informed me that I should always have to wear them. Since laying them aside I have at different times done very close work, but have never had any inharmonious results.

A few years ago, with the help of a Christian Science practitioner, a domestic matter was adjusted. Hate was overcome by the realization that there is only one kind of man, the man who is the image and likeness of the Father-Mother God, by whom all things are created. Holding to the knowledge that God's law of good is ever operating in man's behalf brought about the desired results. I am most grateful for this experience, because it has given me a better understanding of divine Mind and His idea, man, and has proved without a shadow of doubt that Christian Science can heal every discordant condition in human experience.
