It is with a deep sense of gratitude and joy that I express my appreciation for what Christian Science has done for me. For a long time I suffered from pains in both knees, as well as in the bone from the knee to the ankle; these pains were more acute at night. I had suffered from this trouble for over twenty years, and in spite of medical treatment I could obtain no relief. I had practically given up all hope of getting better, when enlightenment came to our home through a Christian Science practitioner, who gave me a few treatments. With this help and the reading of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, all pains completely disappeared, and I have not been troubled with them since. My state of mind at this time was very much perturbed, because of business troubles, but by right and harmonious thinking and complete trust in God the most serious difficulties have been overcome and the future looks clearer. My wife and our baby suffered from constipation, and my wife was practically on the verge of a nervous breakdown. All of these troubles were overcome. Our baby now is the picture of health, and my wife is happy and contented, and more self-possessed.

I am grateful to Christian Science for all of these blessings, and for the loving help of the practitioner, who came to this country and taught us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not unto our own understanding.—Delfin Goldsworthy, Antofagasta, Chile, South America.
