I wish to express my gratitude for the conviction of the Father's loving care which has come to me through the unfoldment of God, divine Mind, in the study of Christian Science. I am grateful to God and to Mrs. Eddy, our beloved Leader. I am grateful also for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church; for our church services, our Sunday schools, and our loving practitioners. The literature is doing much to help us work out problems, and I am grateful for the healing word that is thus sent out into the Field.

Study of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, soon healed me in a large measure of hate, malice, anger, revenge, fear, and worry. This brought a release from so-called nervous exhaustion, backache, and insomnia of many years' standing. Our small son was healed in two absent treatments of eczema which physicians had failed to heal. At first I trusted in Truth only for myself, but very soon learned that God is the only physician and heals all our diseases. Chicken pox, measles, influenza, earache, and fevers were overcome by the aid of practitioners.

Little by little I have gained some sense of my God-given dominion, which has enabled me to overcome colds, tonsillitis, and weakness to which I seemed much in bondage. I have seen infections quickly healed. Mrs. Eddy says on page 463 of Science and Health, "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive." While in the country one summer our son was bitten by a dog. Much error was voiced, but I did not accept it. I just held to the truth, and there was no ill effect. At different times members of our household have been beautifully protected from contagion. The ninety-first Psalm has been of much help. I have seen warts disappear and constipation healed. Inflammatory rheumatism was very quickly healed to the surprise of friends and physician. I applied the truths from our Lesson-Sermon and held to the truth voiced in the fourth verse of the twelfth chapter of Hebrews. These are only a few of the healings I have witnessed.
