I cannot express in words what Christian Science has...
I cannot express in words what Christian Science has done for me. About ten years ago a very dear friend asked me if I would like to go with her to a Christian Science Sunday evening service. I went with her, and I cannot explain what I felt, but I knew that I had found what I had been looking for all my life. Since then I have read little else than Christian Science literature. With the loving help of a practitioner I was guided through great financial difficulties that I should never have got through but for Christian Science.
I have proved the promise, "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee," and I have also proved that all things are possible to God. To all material appearances I should have had no home and nothing to live on, but today I have a happy home and every comfort, and I am provided for through the knowledge of the truth that makes us free. I have had many healings. All my life I was extremely delicate and nervous, always under the doctor's care; but for over nine years, since taking up this study, Christian Science has been my only physician, and I now have excellent health, something I never knew before. I can also read without glasses, which I used for many years.
I am most grateful for all that Mrs. Eddy has given to the world, for the church services, the literature, and the restful Reading Rooms. Children have a wonderful privilege in attending the Sunday school, where the teaching is so beautifully simple that the smallest child can understand.
